In this course we educate you how to give firs aid in different situations and different circumstances.

Duration of the course: 3 days (2 nights), possible to prepare 1 day or 3 days courses, according to requests of clients

Contents of the Course:

• Goals of first aid
• Basic life functions (anatomy and physiology) and their diagnosis
• Basic life support theory + practical training of resuscitation breathing (artificial ventilation) and external heart massage with one and two rescuers
• Resuscitation training on figurine of adult, child and infancy
• Automatic Defibrillator (AED) training theory and practical application (as required, non-standard)
• Prevention and first aid in case of shock
• First aid for drowning person
• Resuscitation training on figurine of adult, child and infancy.
• Automatic Defibrillator (AED) training theory and practical application (as required, non-standard)
• Prevention and first aid in case of shock
• First aid for drowning person
• First aid at incidents related to diving (on request, non-standard)
• First aid in case of obstruction of respiratory tract with strange element and practice of Hemlich manoeuvre on figurine
• Stabilized position - theory + practical training
• First aid in case of injuries (including treatment of fractures, bleeding, etc.)
• First aid for external bleeding
• First aid for acute myocardial infarction, acute stroke, epileptic seizure
• First aid for burns and frostbite
• Protection of the rescuer when giving first aid (barrier aids)
• Using the first aid kits

Material and technical equipment of the course:

We use a computer, a data projector, teaching materials with photos and videos from different areas of first aid. Dressing material, aids for training treatment of wounds and fractures. 2 figurines Ambu electronically controlled for basic training in resuscitation, one of the figurines is with simulation of rhythm disorders and the possibility of automatic defibrillation training (for an extra charge). Then there is a simulator for automatic defibrillation training (AED) and figurines of babies and prepubescent children for KPR training, with detector of efficiency of external massage and artificial respiration. We use also simulator for training Hemlich maneuver for obstruction with strange element. Artificial limb for training to ensure vein access (for an extra charge for medical courses).
